Today as i pulled on socks tan and taupe
Even though i tried my best and gave 110%
Part of me gave up before other parts
Had your heart been as tender as your bruise
And had i been ever present and self aware
Noone would be kissing in darkened cars like teenagers
I know the point of no return was fixed in time and space
Even now a polyanna and a joke will sedate inquisitions
But then Somthing occurred to me...
